Turn on the grill to preheat to medium-high. Grease the grill grate with oil. Peel the grapefruit and cut into slices.
In a small saucepan, heat honey with grapefruit juice, bring to a boil, cook over medium heat until the liquid is reduced to 1/3 cup. Salt and pepper the sauce to taste.
Season the sea scallops with salt and pepper on all sides. Place the scallops on a baking sheet lined with parchment or foil, along with the grapefruit slices. Spray with oil.
Arrange the scallops and grapefruit on the grill, grill the scallops for about 2-3 minutes on each side and the citrus for 1-2 minutes on each side.
Put the scallops and grapefruit on a serving plate, drizzle with honey sauce and sprinkle with herbs to your liking. Serve immediately.
