Hot sandwiches with cheese, canned fish and cucumber are prepared very quickly - in the microwave in just a couple of minutes. All components fit well. These sandwiches are the perfect appetizer for any occasion!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. We transfer the canned fish (I have a sardine) to a plate, keeping the liquid in the jar. Mash the fish with a fork.
  2. We wash the parsley, dry it and finely chop with a knife. Set aside about 1/4 of the chopped parsley for garnish.
  3. Cucumbers cut into thin slices, slightly thinner than 0.5 cm.
  4. We rub the cheese on a large grater.
  5. In a bowl, combine chopped sardines and parsley. Add about 1 tbsp. a spoonful of liquid from sardines.
  6. Mix well. The mass should turn out not too thick and similar to pate. You can add a little more liquid if needed.
  7. We spread a mass of sardines and parsley on bread.
  8. Lay a few slices of cucumbers on top of the sardines.
  9. Put the grated cheese on top of the cucumbers.
  10. We send sandwiches to the microwave and cook at full power (I have 800 W) for about 2-3 minutes.
  11. As soon as the cheese is melted, hot sandwiches with cheese and fish are ready.
  12. Sprinkle the finished sandwiches with the remaining parsley and serve. These sandwiches are good both hot and cold.
  13. Bon appetit!
