An original and budget snack with just three ingredients - pita snacks cooked in a frying pan. Lavash, cut into thin strips and fried in a pan, is an excellent light snack or a good addition to vegetable salads or soups!

  1. Cut pita bread into thin strips about 7 mm wide and about 4-5 cm long.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wide skillet over medium heat. Place the Provence herbs in the hot oil.
  3. Put chopped pita bread into hot fragrant oil and immediately start stirring intensively, frying pita bread on a fire slightly above average for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Lavash strips should be completely covered with oil and lightly browned.
  5. Remove the pan from the heat and cool the pita bread, stirring occasionally, but not so intensively.
  6. Lavash snacks cooked in a pan are ready! They can be served immediately after preparation.
  7. Bon appetit!
