This simple bread and mince pie recipe is for lovers of a hearty and tasty snack. We will not knead the dough, everything is quite simple. We put slices of bread in the mold, pour the egg-milk filling, and distribute the minced meat and crackers on top. Minced meat is perfectly baked in the oven, and an appetizing golden crust forms on top.

  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. Minced meat is suitable for any, at your discretion.
  3. Use milk of any fat content.
  4. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  5. Peel the onion, grate on a fine grater and add to the minced meat. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir. If the stuffing is thick, add a little water (20-30 ml).
  6. Grease a baking dish (I have a size of 20x20 cm) with vegetable oil and put the slices of bread there tightly to each other. Slices of bread can be cut with a knife to the desired size in order to fill all the voids to the maximum.
  7. Break the eggs into a deep bowl. Pour in the milk. Salt and pepper. Whisk with a whisk until smooth.
  8. Pour the egg filling over the bread slices.
  9. Put the minced meat on top and smooth with a spoon.
  10. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  11. Send the form to the preheated oven and cook the lazy bread and minced meat pie at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes. The baking time depends on the power of your oven, the size of the cake and the material of the pan you are using.
  12. The lazy meat pie is ready. Leave it in the mold for another 10-15 minutes to cool down a bit.
  13. Take the cake out of the mold, cut into portions and serve.
