A simple and tasty appetizer based on ready-made puff pastry - delicious mini-puffs stuffed with sausage and cheese. Such a beautiful dish is very easy to prepare in a short time. A great alternative to the usual sandwiches for breakfast or a simple snack for special occasions.

  1. Prepare the items on the list.
  2. Puffs with sausage and cheese are prepared quite quickly, so it is better to turn on the oven in advance to warm up to 180 degrees.
  3. Grate the sausage on a coarse grater.
  4. Cheese also grate on a coarse grater.
  5. Combine chopped sausage and cheese in a deep bowl and add basil and oregano.
  6. Roll out the finished puff pastry into a thin layer about 3-4 mm thick.
  7. Put the filling on the dough, spread over the entire surface, leaving a couple of centimeters free from one edge.
  8. Start rolling the roll, pressing from all sides.
  9. Roll up the roll, pinch the edge where there is no filling. Leave the roll in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
  10. Then cut the roll into small pieces 1.5-2 cm thick.
  11. Crack an egg into a separate bowl and beat with a fork or a pastry brush.
  12. Place on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg. Send to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for about 15-20 minutes.
  13. Then cool the finished puffs slightly and transfer them to a plate.
  14. Serve puffs with cheese and sausage to the table, garnishing with herbs if desired.
