Nachos with meat and tomatoes

The Mexican dish "nachos" is made with tortilla chips with the addition of various vegetable and meat fillings. This version of nachos features ground beef, tomatoes, cheese, and avocado.

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the sunflower oil, add the onion and minced meat, cook, stirring, for about 6-8 minutes.
  2. Add garlic, red pepper and tomatoes to the pan, cook for a couple more minutes. Salt the sauce and pepper to taste.
  3. Turn on the oven with the "grill" functions to preheat to medium-high temperature.
  4. Transfer the contents of the skillet to a heatproof dish, put the avocado and tortilla chips on top, sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Place the dish under the grill and cook for about 2 minutes, until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
