Directions
Cut the onion into rings 1-1.5 cm thick.
Disassemble into separate rings.
Choose the rings so that one ring fits into the second and the distance between them is about 1 mm (just remove the onion ring that was located between them).
Cut the cheese into thin strips 1 mm thick and 1-1.5 cm wide (same as the height of the onion ring).
Place cheese strips between two onion rings.
Break up the eggs and season with salt to taste.
Roll onion rings with cheese in flour, then in egg and breadcrumbs, then again in egg and again in breadcrumbs.
Fry onion rings in breadcrumbs until golden brown. The oil temperature must not be too high (the oil must not smoke).
Ready-made fried onion rings with cheese, serve hot, with your favorite sauce.
