A pie stuffed with fried zucchini with onion and garlic and cheese in egg filling is a great option for lovers of savory pastries. When cooled, the filling of the pie is stable, so the cut is even and beautiful. Due to the fact that ready-made puff pastry is used, the process of making a pie is greatly simplified, and the result will delight you with a thin base and a crispy side with sesame topping.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the necessary ingredients.
  2. Remove the frozen puff pastry from the freezer and leave to thaw while preparing the filling.
  3. Turn on the oven to preheat to 220 degrees.
  4. Rinse green onion feathers, dry and finely chop.
  5. Peel and chop the garlic.
  6. Heat the sunflower oil in a frying pan, put the onion and garlic in it and fry over medium heat for 1 minute.
  7. Rinse the zucchini, wipe dry, cut off the edges. Cut the zucchini into as thin circles as possible (you can use a regular knife, vegetable peeler).
  8. Put the zucchini in the pan with the onion and garlic, salt and fry over high heat, stirring constantly, about 3-5 minutes, until soft.
  9. Transfer the fried zucchini from the pan to a bowl.
  10. Break the eggs into a bowl. Transfer half of the egg yolk to a bowl (for greasing the pie), beat the rest of the eggs with a fork.
  11. Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater.
  12. Pour the egg mixture over the zucchini and add the grated cheese.
  13. Stir. The filling for the pie is ready.
  14. On a table sprinkled with a little flour, roll out the dough into a thin layer. Transfer it to a round baking dish so that the edges of the dough hang over the edge of the form. Prick the bottom often with a fork.
  15. Pour the filling into the mold onto the dough.
  16. Gather the free edges of the dough in a circle so that you get a narrow side and the filling is clearly visible.
  17. Lubricate the edge of the dough with the yolk left earlier.
  18. Sprinkle the greased edge of the dough with sesame seeds.
  19. Send the form to the preheated oven and bake the zucchini pie at 220 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
  20. Puff pastry snack with zucchini and cheese is ready.
  21. Remove the cake from the mold and let it cool.
  22. Cut the pie into pieces and serve. Bon appetit!
