Potato appetizer with salmon

Such an original potato appetizer is well suited for both a family dinner and a festive buffet table.

  1. Peel potatoes, cut into cubes and boil in salted water until soft. Drain water and prepare mashed potatoes. Mix mashed potatoes, yeast, flour, salt, pepper and water. Knead a homogeneous dough. Cover bowl with dough and place in a warm place to rise for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick frying pan or regular frying pan over high heat. Pour some oil into a hot skillet. Spoon the batter onto the hot oil to make pancakes 5 cm in diameter.
  3. Fry pancakes on both sides for 2 minutes, until golden brown. Put the finished pancakes on a plate. Do the same with the rest of the test.
  4. Put a little sour cream and a slice of salmon on each potato pancake. Serve with lemon wedges and sprinkle with ground black pepper.
