Recipe for very tasty pies with cabbage. These pies have an excellent combination of thin, crispy dough and a large amount of cabbage filling. Such quick tube pies can be cooked during fasting, at any other time, just like that, and also on the festive table as a snack. I advise you to cook!

  1. To prepare the dough, combine salt, water, butter and flour in a bowl.
  2. We mix. Then knead the dough a little on the table.
  3. The finished dough is soft, but due to the oil is very elastic. Put the dough in a bowl, cover with cling film. We set aside for 30 minutes.
  4. In a heated frying pan with vegetable oil, fry the diced onion and grated carrots until soft.
  5. Then add chopped cabbage and fry until half cooked.
  6. Next, add salt, tomato paste, chopped garlic, black pepper and spices. Stir, simmer the cabbage filling for pies until cooked and the liquid evaporates.
  7. We cool the stuffing.
  8. Knead the rested dough again. We form a sausage. We divide into equal 12-16 parts.
  9. Roll out each piece into a thin rectangle.
  10. We put the filling on the edge, tuck the edges and twist into a tube.
  11. Put the formed pies with cabbage on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
  12. So that sesame seeds do not crumble, we will prepare a batter from flour and water.
  13. Lubricate the pies with the resulting dough.
  14. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  15. We bake pies with cabbage at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
  16. Puff pies with cabbage, made from thin yeast-free dough, are ready. The dough is crispy and flaky due to the fact that the dough contains a lot of vegetable oil.
