Ruddy Lavash rolls with chicken

Delicious, ruddy rolls of pita bread with chicken are not cooked for very long and fly off the plate in an instant. The main thing is to boil the chicken in advance.

  1. Prepare the necessary ingredients. Boil part of the chicken in advance for 40 minutes if it is a broiler bird, or for 1.5 hours if it is a domestic chicken. Be sure to let the chicken cool down.
  2. Disassemble chicken meat into fibers, preferably small. (If desired, they can be ground in the bowl of a food processor into a pâté with a little broth or water.)
  3. Add mayonnaise and melted cheese to boiled chicken, add salt and pepper. Mix everything carefully.
  4. Lubricate an elongated sheet of pita bread (rectangular shape) with the prepared filling very thinly. Do not lay out a thick layer of the filling, otherwise you will not be able to cut the pita bread with the filling later.
  5. Roll the pita bread with chicken roll, tucking the edges inward.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and cut the roll into portions. Dip each part in wheat flour or breadcrumbs. It is a must to do this!!! Otherwise, the filling will stick to the bottom of the pan, and you will not be able to turn the rolls over to the other side.
  7. Fry the pita rolls with chicken for 2 minutes on each side over medium heat.
  8. Put rosy rolls of pita bread with chicken on a plate, let cool slightly and serve.
