Salted cheese cookies with mayonnaise

  1. We prepare all products for cheese cookies. It is best to use a hard cheese with a pronounced taste, such as cheddar.
  2. Cooking dough. In a bowl, mix softened butter, egg and mayonnaise.
  3. With a mixer (or in a blender), beat all the ingredients for 20-30 seconds.
  4. We rub the cheese on a fine grater.
  5. Add cheese to the rest of the dough ingredients.
  6. Mix everything again. Add salt, soda. Now add flour in small portions and knead the dough.
  7. Cover the finished dough with a film and send it to the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  8. On baking paper, roll out the dough into a layer, 0.5 cm thick.
  9. Cut out cookies with any cookie cutters, cookie cutters, or just a curly knife. I cut my cookies into squares.
  10. Pour 2 tbsp into the egg yolk. water and beat the yolk with water well with a fork.
  11. Lubricate the cookies with yolk using a silicone brush.
  12. Mix the cumin and sesame seeds and sprinkle over the top of the cookies. We shift the cookies directly on the paper onto a baking sheet. We send the baking sheet to the oven preheated to 180 degrees. We bake cheese cookies on mayonnaise for 15-20 minutes.
  13. IMPORTANT: keep an eye on the cookies, they bake very quickly, make sure that they do not burn.
  14. We take out the finished salty cheese cookies on mayonnaise from the oven and let it cool completely on a baking sheet.
  15. We serve ready-made cheese cookies for men with beer, and for women and children with sweet tea.
