An uncomplicated and very original alternative to the usual sandwiches - delicious, quick and easy! Try it!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the items on the list.
  2. I use small waffle cakes (about 10-15 cm in diameter), but you can also use regular waffle cake layers and cut them into pieces.
  3. Sausage, if desired, can be replaced with any other to your taste.
  4. Break eggs into a bowl and add salt. Whisk with a fork or whisk until smooth.
  5. Peel the sausage from the factory casing and cut into slices about half a centimeter thick.
  6. Put a circle of sausage on the waffle cake and cover with another waffle cake.
  7. In the same way, collect the remaining waffle sandwiches with sausage (I got 13 pieces from the indicated amount of products).
  8. Pour the vegetable oil into a frying pan and place over medium heat.
  9. Quickly dip the waffle sandwiches into the beaten egg on both sides, shake off the excess egg mass and place in a preheated pan.
  10. Fry "lazy brizoli" with sausage over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden and golden brown.
  11. Repeat the process with the remaining blanks.
  12. An unusual hot appetizer of waffle cakes and boiled sausage is ready.
  13. Bon appetit!
