Snack potato cake with cheese and eggs is tasty and satisfying. Cakes for such a cake are prepared from grated potatoes and fried in a pan. We also add pickled onions to the filling of melted cheese and boiled eggs, which will give a pleasant sweet and sour taste and light piquancy. A sauce of sour cream and mayonnaise will help to connect everything together.

  1. We prepare all the necessary products.
  2. Boil water in any convenient way (you will need 200 ml for pickling onions).
  3. Boil eggs (3 pcs.) - about 10 minutes after boiling. Cool boiled eggs in cold water.
  4. Peel the onion, cut into half rings and put in a bowl.
  5. Pour the onion with 200 ml of hot water. There we also add 3/4 teaspoon of salt (incomplete teaspoon), vinegar and sugar.
  6. Stir and leave the onion covered for 15 minutes.
  7. After that, drain the water from the onion.
  8. We clean the potatoes, rub on a medium (or fine) grater and put them in a deep bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of salt.
  9. Mix and leave for 10 minutes.
  10. After that, squeeze the potatoes from the liquid.
  11. We drive the remaining two eggs to the potatoes.
  12. We add flour.
  13. Mix until smooth.
  14. We heat a small frying pan (approximately 18 cm in diameter along the bottom) with 0.5 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil. Put about 3 tbsp into the pan. tablespoons of potato mass and level along the bottom.
  15. Fry the potato pancake for about 2 minutes on each side, until browned.
  16. Thus, fry 4 more cakes.
  17. Leave the finished cakes to cool.
  18. Combine mayonnaise and sour cream.
  19. We mix.
  20. Mushrooms cut into slices.
  21. Warm up 0.5 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the mushrooms until lightly browned.
  22. We clean the boiled eggs and rub on a medium grater. Processed cheeses are also rubbed on a medium grater.
  23. Finely chop the parsley.
  24. We collect the cake.
  25. Put the cooled potato cake on a flat plate and grease it with sour cream and mayonnaise sauce.
  26. Then lay out 1/4 of the grated eggs.
  27. Spread 1/4 of the pickled onion over the eggs.
  28. Then add 1/4 grated cheese.
  29. Sprinkle with parsley.
  30. Thus, we alternate the cakes and the filling until the products run out. Lubricate the top cake with sour cream and mayonnaise sauce.
  31. Lay slices of fried mushrooms on top and sprinkle with chopped green onions. We leave the potato cake in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. After that, it will be easy to cut into portioned pieces.
