Snack sausage

An unusual sausage appetizer stewed in apple juice and then briefly cooked with apple jam and maple syrup.

Ingredients

• Ham sausage with lard - 600 g
• Apple juice - 0.25 cups
• Apple jam transparent - 0.25 cups
• Maple syrup - 2 tbsp. l.

Directions

1. Cut the sausage into slices 0.5 cm thick.
2. In a large skillet, combine chopped sausage and apple juice, bring to a boil. Cover the pan with a lid, cook for 5 minutes. Then remove the lid and cook the snack sausage for another 5 minutes.
3. Drain the juice from the pan, add apple jam and maple syrup to the pan with sausage. Cook sausage appetizer, stirring, for a couple more minutes.
