Snack sausages (jerks) from minced pork are a very tasty snack that is not too difficult to cook at home. And you only need a few ingredients: meat, salt, paprika. Of course, the cooking process is quite lengthy, but you will know exactly what your jerky sausages are made of.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. We prepare products.
  2. In the process of cooking, we need high-quality parchment paper or a silicone mat and cling film. You can plant sausages using a culinary syringe, a culinary bag or a tight bag twisted into a horn.
  3. Wash the meat thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels. Cut off tough films and excess fat. You can leave a little soft fat - sausages will be juicier. Cut the meat into small pieces.
  4. Put the meat in a bowl, add two types of salt.
  5. (Nitrite salt is used to make homemade sausages, preserve them, flavor them, and have a slight coloring effect.)
  6. Thoroughly mix the meat with salt. Cover the bowl with cling film and send the meat to the refrigerator for 1-3 days.
  7. Grind the meat with a meat grinder.
  8. Pour paprika and red hot ground pepper into minced meat.
  9. Mix thoroughly for 5 minutes.
  10. Turn on the oven to preheat to 50 degrees.
  11. We cover the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  12. I use a cooking syringe. I fill it with minced meat and plant sausages over the entire width of the baking sheet. (The smaller the opening of your syringe, the drier and thinner the sausages will be.)
  13. We send the sausages to the oven and cook at a temperature of 50 degrees with the oven door ajar for 2 hours. Then we turn the sausages over and dry for another 1.5-2 hours.
  14. Since I still had some minced meat left, I decided to make a few sausages thicker. As a result, these snack sausages turned out to be softer.
  15. From the declared amount of products, 220 g of finished sausages were obtained.
  16. Snack sausages (jerks) are ready.
  17. Bon appetit!
