Stir-fried vegetables with tofu

Stir-fried vegetables are cooked over high heat and served with fried tofu cheese.

  1. Put the cheese on a paper towel and leave for 15 minutes to remove as much liquid as possible. In a separate bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic chili sauce, ginger and 1 teaspoon of starch, lightly beat with a whisk or fork.
  2. Pour the remaining starch into another bowl and put the cheese in it, roll the pieces of cheese on all sides in starch.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add cheese and cook, stirring occasionally, about 6-8 minutes. Transfer the fried tofu to a plate lined with paper towels.
  4. Leave only one tablespoon of oil in the pan, and drain the rest. Add vegetables to skillet and cook over high heat, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes. Put fried tofu cheese in a pan with vegetables, pour over honey dressing, cook stir-fry vegetables with fried tofu, stirring, 1-2 minutes.
  5. Serve stir fry vegetables with fried tofu immediately.
