Grissini are thin breadsticks with a crispy crust and soft inside. In this recipe, we use a mixture of wheat and mineral-rich flaxseed flour. You can serve pastries with beer, use them as crackers for a snack, and also instead of bread for various dishes.

  1. We prepare the necessary products.
  2. Water (270 ml) is heated to 40 degrees.
  3. Sift wheat and flaxseed flour into a deep bowl.
  4. The bran remaining in the sieve after flaxseed flour is also poured.
  5. Add dry yeast and sugar. We mix.
  6. Dissolve salt in warm water.
  7. Pour water into flour with yeast. Add vegetable oil.
  8. Knead the dough with a spoon.
  9. In the process of kneading, add cumin (cumin).
  10. Place the dough on a work surface and knead with your hands until it is soft and pliable. Roll the dough into a ball.
  11. Lubricate the bowl with vegetable oil and place the dough there.
  12. Cover bowl with cling film and let rise for 1-2 hours to rise.
  13. Sprinkle the table with wheat flour and spread the dough there. Cut the dough into 2 parts.
  14. Roll out part of the dough into a rectangle 1 cm thick and cut into strips 1.5-2 cm wide.
  15. We cover the baking sheet with parchment.
  16. We twist each strip of dough and put it on a baking sheet.
  17. Let the sticks rest in a warm place for about 20 minutes.
  18. During this time, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  19. We send the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake the grissini for 20 minutes.
  20. Wheat-linen grissini on a baking sheet, cover with a towel and leave for 10 minutes.
  21. Serve chilled.
