Yeast-puff pastry buns with sausage and cheese

An original appetizer made from ready-made puff-yeast dough - buns with sausage and cheese. Beautiful buns are prepared very simply and resemble mini-pizzas. Delicious, fast and easy!

  1. Prepare the items on the list.
  2. Remove the dough from the refrigerator ahead of time.
  3. Cut the sausage into thin slices.
  4. Buns from ready-made puff-yeast dough are prepared quite quickly, so it is best to turn on the oven in advance to warm up to 180 degrees.
  5. Roll out the dough into a thin layer about half a centimeter thick.
  6. Lubricate the dough with ketchup, leaving free edges of about 2 cm, so that it is easier to pinch the roll. Sprinkle the ketchup with dried oregano.
  7. Grate about half of the cheese (40-50 g) and sprinkle the dough with it. Cut the rest of the cheese into small cubes and set aside.
  8. Arrange the sausage slices on top.
  9. Gently roll the dough with the filling into a not too tight roll. Lightly pinch the ends of the roll.
  10. With a sharp knife, cut the roll into slices about 2-3 cm thick.
  11. Put the resulting blanks on a baking sheet covered with parchment, and put in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for about 10 minutes.
  12. Then remove the baking sheet from the oven and put the reserved cheese, cut into cubes, on the buns.
  13. Return the baking sheet with the buns to the oven for about 5 more minutes.
  14. As soon as the cheese is melted, the buns are ready. Remove them from the oven and cool slightly before serving.
