Zucchini with tomatoes and cheese is a light vegetable dish that is quickly prepared on the grill. Fried zucchini is soaked in tomato juices, and baked cheese gives the vegetables a unique taste. This appetizer is perfect for any meat dishes at a picnic.

  1. Cut the zucchini into slices about 1 cm wide.
  2. Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. We spread the zucchini circles on the grate and grease with sunflower oil.
  4. We put coal on the grill and light the fire. When the coals burn out, pour water over the flame so that there is no open fire.
  5. We send the grate with zucchini to the grill. Flip the zucchini after 5 minutes.
  6. Cut the tomato into slices about 0.5 cm wide.
  7. Grate the cheese on a medium grater.
  8. When the zucchini are browned on both sides, remove them from the grill. Open the grate and put a tomato on each zucchini, and a pinch of grated cheese on the tomato.
  9. We send the grill with vegetables back to the grill.
  10. As soon as the cheese is melted, remove the zucchini with tomatoes from the grill.
  11. Serve zucchini with tomatoes and cheese hot to the table.
