Rice Pudding With Nuts, Raisins And Spices

INGREDIENTS:

rice ½ стаканов

cashews 1 tbsp.

almond 1 tbsp.

seedless raisins 2 tbsp.

butter 2 tbsp.

milk 3 glass

sugar ⅓ стакан

saffron Imeretian 1 pinch

cardamom 1 pinch

salt 1 pinch

PREPARATION: +

We will prepare the ingredients in advance. Rinse the rice, add a couple of glasses of water and leave for 1 hour.

Chop the nuts with a knife. Put butter in a preheated pan and when it starts to sizzle, add nuts with raisins. Fry them for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour milk into a deep saucepan and bring to a boil over moderate heat.

Before the milk boils, pour the saffron with 2 tablespoons of hot milk and let it brew.

Pour rice into boiling milk and add sugar after 10 minutes. Then cook for another 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

A few minutes until tender, add the mixture of nuts and raisins, saffron, cardamom and salt to the saucepan. Serve the pudding warm.
