I would like to introduce you to another recipe from Kazakh cuisine - balyk sorpa. This is a simple but delicious fish broth. It is served hot in deep bowls or kese with fresh herbs.

  1. Prepare the food you need. Rinse the fish fillet, cut into portions. Wash vegetables, peel. Wash the greens. Bring the water with allspice and bay leaf to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Dip the fish fillet in boiling water. If foam appears, remove it.
  2. The potatoes can be left intact, but I've cut them into convenient cubes. Cut the carrots into small cubes, leave the onion whole (you can then remove it from the finished broth). Add vegetables to broth, simmer until tender. Add salt, pepper to taste, chopped herbs. Remove from heat, let it brew for a couple of minutes. Serve balyk sorpa hot with fresh herbs. Bon Appetit!
