A plate of hot cabbage soup with smoked ribs will warm, and saturate, and delight the soul on a cold autumn day. The cabbage soup according to this recipe is prepared simply and quickly, and turns out to be tasty and aromatic. Hot on the table!

  1. We will wash and clean all the vegetables. Cut the carrots into strips, chop the onions completely arbitrarily.
  2. In a saucepan with a thick bottom, heat the oil (I have a tablespoon of ghee) and fry the onions and carrots until light golden brown.
  3. Add the potatoes, cut into cubes, to the pan and fry for about 5 minutes more. Then put the chopped tomatoes in a saucepan. Fry everything for a few more minutes.
  4. Cut the smoked ribs into bones. Pour boiling water into the pan, taking into account that cabbage will still be added, lay out the ribs and cook for about 5 minutes more. The potatoes should be cooked until half cooked.
  5. Thinly chop the cabbage.
  6. Put the cabbage in a saucepan, add garlic, salt and black pepper. Cook until the cabbage is done for about 10 minutes. A few minutes before the end of cooking, put the herbs in the pan and let the cabbage soup brew a little.
  7. Cabbage soup with smoked ribs are ready.
  8. When serving (optional) generously add a tablespoon of sour cream to the plate. Delicious! Join us!
