Try preparing your favorite fast food in the form of a hearty and thick soup with aromatic vegetables, juicy beef and velvety cheese broth.

  1. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Peel and grate the carrots on a medium grater or cut into small cubes.
  2. Cut the celery into small cubes. Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes.
  3. Fry the minced meat until brown in a large saucepan without oil for 5-6 minutes, then transfer to a bowl.
  4. Return the pot to the heat, add one tablespoon of butter, onions, carrots and celery.
  5. Add parsley and basil to vegetables, fry everything, stirring occasionally, for 5-6 minutes until soft.
  6. Pour broth into a saucepan, add potatoes and minced meat. Bring the soup to a boil and simmer, covered, for 10-15 minutes.
  7. In a small skillet, melt the remaining butter, add flour to it and fry it, stirring occasionally, for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  8. When the potatoes are tender, add the flour frying to the soup, mix everything thoroughly and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Add cheese, milk, salt and pepper to the soup to taste, mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese dissolves.
  10. Instead of processed cheese, you can use 200-300 g of cheddar, grated on a fine grater.
  11. Remove soup from heat, add sour cream and stir thoroughly. Sprinkle the soup with grated cheese and croutons, if desired.
