Lentil soup with shrimps

Lentils are legumes and are a very good source of iron and are easier for humans to digest than beans or peas.

Ingredients

  1. Finely chop the garlic, fry in olive oil until golden brown.
  2. Cut celery, carrots and onions into small cubes, add to the garlic, fry for 10 minutes. Add lentils, dry rosemary and 2 L of water. Add bay leaves, season with salt, pepper and simmer until lentils are cooked for about 30 minutes.
  3. Once the lentils are cooked, add the finely chopped tomatoes to the soup and bring to a boil.
  4. Separately fry the shrimp without shell and add to the serving plate, pour in the soup. Done, bon appetit!
