Mashed potato soup with garlic and cream

  1. Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Peel, wash potatoes and cut into large cubes. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan, fry onions. Put potatoes, pour cold drinking water. Cook for about twenty minutes until the potatoes are ready.
  2. Peel and cut the garlic into several pieces. Heat the butter, fry the garlic until golden brown. Put it in a pot with potatoes, cook for two minutes all together.
  3. Grind the potato mixture in parts in a blender, gradually adding the broth. Pour everything into a saucepan, add cream, sprinkle with pepper, salt, boil. Cool slightly. Sprinkle with herbs, serve mashed potato soup with croutons.
