  1. We take our beets and rinse them thoroughly under running water. We clean it and rub it on a coarse grater. Pour water into a saucepan and dip the beets into it. Bring the water to a boil. Salt, pepper, then boil the beets for 10 minutes. During this time, the beets should color the water well. Add a spoonful of sugar and citric acid. This will give the broth an even brighter color.
  2. Then we pass the contents of the pan through a colander (we no longer need beets). Cool the broth! At the same time, we should boil eggs and potatoes. Then peel them, chop and fold into one bowl. Add dill and diced cucumber and sausage. Pour the vegetables into the broth and leave in the refrigerator overnight.
