We often cook shurpa over a fire at our dacha. Especially when a big company is gathering. If you have a similar situation, I recommend giving it a try: everyone will be full and happy - that's for sure. Cooking!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. We light a fire. Preparing the meat. Pour oil into the cauldron and put the meat there to fry. Salt and pepper it. We continue to fry the meat until golden brown. We clean and cut onions and carrots and put them to the meat.
  2. Do not forget to stir. We wash and clean the pepper from the seeds and also add to the cauldron. Add tomato sauce, salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin and red pepper and continue to mix and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Then add the garlic and bay leaf and cook for another 20 minutes. Add peeled and halved potatoes to the cauldron. If you need to add water and cook still for 25-30 minutes, until the potatoes are done.
  4. Sprinkle the prepared shurpa with herbs. You can treat guests! Bon Appetit!
