A fragrant and rich shurpa with tomatoes will warm you better than any drink if you serve it hot for lunch or dinner - lamb is eaten only hot. The soup is made only from lamb or beef!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the indicated ingredients. Peel the root vegetables, rinse in water. Rinse the lamb in water, carefully remove the films that are rich in such meat. Cut it into pieces and put it in a cauldron. Add bay leaves, salt.
  2. Pour in warm water and place the container on the stove. Bring to a boil and remove the resulting foam. Reduce heat and cook meat for about 1 hour. Then cut the washed root vegetables into large cubes and add to the container.
  3. The water should boil off by about a third. Rinse the tomato and cut out the green core. Cut into large pieces and add to the container. Cook the soup for another 30-40 minutes.
  4. 5 minutes before cooking, add chopped fresh herbs to the container: parsley, dill, green garlic, and cilantro, if you like the aroma of such greens in your dishes.
  5. After the specified time, turn off the heating and let the dish brew for another 5 minutes. If you did not add green garlic, then press the peeled fresh garlic clove into a container and stir. Place hot shurpa in deep bowls and serve with bread. Bon Appetit!
