Minestrone is a famous Italian dish. It is a thick and rich vegetable soup, similar to a stew. The more vegetables we use, the tastier the soup will be. Cooking!

  1. Here are some of our soup vegetables. I show them to you so you can see the size. Peel and wash the vegetables, cut into small cubes and place in different bowls.
  2. We will cook the soup in a thick-walled saucepan and fry vegetables in it. Heat a saucepan with oil and fry the onions and carrots until soft. Add celery and pour in one and a half glasses of hot water. Close with a lid and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Do not forget to stir our vegetables. Add chopped cabbage. Can be cut into thin strips, or wider. Add another glass of hot water. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add potatoes, mix. 10 minutes after the potatoes, we send the chopped tomatoes to the pan. Cook for 5-8 minutes. Add the zucchini and salt. Reduce heat and cook for 7 minutes. Add some more water if necessary. But remember that the soup must be thick.
  4. And the last step: add boiled beans and spices. Cook for 5 minutes, bring to taste. Then turn off the heat and let the soup steep for about 15 minutes. And now the soup can be served. You can add grated Parmesan or fried bacon to the plate.
