This cake is also very easy to prepare, so you shouldn't be afraid of it, even in spite of the yeast dough. Fresh figs, out of season, can be substituted for any other fruit.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Knead the dough from the specified ingredients, cover with a towel, place in a warm place. Keep in mind that the dough is relatively thin.
  2. As it rises for the first time (in about an hour), wrinkle. Let it rise again (50 minutes at 25 degrees) and again wrinkle and transfer to a pre-greased and lightly floured form. Let it rise a third time under the same conditions. Decorate with fruit.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until tender (about 35-40 minutes). Check with a toothpick.
