Sochni are flat cakes folded in half with the filling visible. Those who love feta cheese will be interested in this recipe, although the filling can be prepared to your taste. I often cook such juices for breakfast.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix an egg, sour cream in a plate, add spices to taste (I have Italian herbs). You can lightly salt, but do not forget that the filling will be salty.
  2. Add flour and baking powder. You may need more flour, it all depends on the size of the egg and the moisture content of the sour cream. The dough turns out to be a little thicker than for pancakes.
  3. For the filling, I took Serbian cheese and green onions. Chop the onion, mash the feta cheese with a fork and mix them together.
  4. Pour a few tablespoons of dough into a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil and fry the pancake over medium heat. I have a small frying pan with a diameter of 12 cm, from this amount of dough I got 2 pancakes.
  5. Turn the pancake over to the other side and put the cheese and onion filling on one edge.
  6. After half a minute, gently wrap one edge over the other and lightly press down with a spoon, giving the shape of a crescent.
