I want to share with you my experience on how to cook millet porridge in water is simple, and most importantly - delicious! I have loved this porridge for many years, and I have developed a few secrets on how to make it delicious.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients you need.
  2. Pour millet groats into an enamel pan, pour 1 tbsp. water and bring to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat, drain water. The fact is that there is dust on the surface of millet groats, which makes the porridge viscous. By boiling, we cleanse the cereals from this dust and other contaminants, as a result of which the porridge will turn out not only crumbly, but also more tasty. Pour the cereal with two glasses of cold water and put on fire. Once the water boils, reduce heat and cook uncovered for 15 minutes. Then put the butter cubes on top, remove the pan from heat, cover and leave for 15 minutes. During this time, the porridge will absorb the remaining liquid and become soft and crumbly.
  4. Millet porridge on the water is ready. Enjoy your meal!
