  1. 1. Wash and clean the beets.
  2. 2. Cut into plates.
  3. 3. Put the beets in a suitable container, and add sugar. Pour 3 liters of warm boiled water. Cover with a lid and leave to ferment at room temperature.
  4. 4. After 7 days kvass will be ready. When you have drunk a glass or two - again top up the container with water to the top. Beet kvass can be drunk until it loses its color and taste.
