A tasty, satisfying and nutritious salad of boiled potatoes and smoked mackerel will definitely appeal to the stronger sex, especially if you serve potato salad for dinner with a glass of foamy beer!

  1. Rinse the potato tubers in water with a sponge and place in a saucepan. Add salt, cover with water and boil for about 20 minutes from the moment the water boils.
  2. Then soak the boiled potatoes in ice water for 10 minutes, peel and cut into large or medium cubes. Place the potatoes in a bowl.
  3. Cut the smoked mackerel horizontally in half, remove the backbone, skin and fins with a tail. Cut the fish fillet into pieces and add to the potatoes.
  4. Wash the celery stalks and cut them into medium pieces. Pour into the rest of the ingredients.
  5. Mix mustard beans, mayonnaise and olive oil. If the fish is not very salty, add a pinch of salt to the dressing.
  6. Add the dressing to the fish salad and toss gently.
  7. Arrange the potato and fish salad on a serving platter.
  8. Chop the washed green onions and sprinkle them with smoked mackerel potato salad, garnish with celery leaves and serve the salad to the table.
