Canape with herring and apple

A simple but incredibly tasty appetizer in the form of miniature sandwiches with herring. The curious thing about this recipe is that pieces of salted herring are first marinated with spices and vodka. Butter is mixed with coriander and dill and becomes exceptionally fragrant.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix pieces of salted herring fillet with vodka, granulated sugar, hot pepper. Marinate up to 3 hours.
  2. We dry the coriander grains for a couple of minutes in a hot frying pan, then grind it in a mortar.
  3. Wash the dill, chop finely.
  4. Mix soft butter with a pinch of salt, chopped coriander and dill.
  5. Peel the apple, cut into thin slices. Drizzle immediately with lemon juice to keep from browning.
  6. Cut slices of bread without crusts into small triangles.
  7. Lubricate with fragrant oil.
  8. We spread the apple slices and pieces of herring. Decorate with green onions.
  9. Serve canape with herring and apple to the table.
