Canape with Mimosa salad

Mimosa salad is usually made from canned fish, but in this recipe we will use baked mackerel. We also bake potatoes in the oven. Serve fish salad "Mimosa" on slices of bread, in the form of canapes.

  1. Wash potatoes thoroughly and wrap in foil. Bake potatoes in the oven for 40-50 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
  2. After 40-50 minutes, we take the potatoes out of the oven, cool them, peel them and rub them on a coarse grater.
  3. In a separate container, mix the ingredients for the marinade, namely: paprika, black pepper and soy sauce.
  4. Preparing fish for salad. If the fish is freshly frozen, defrost it. Then we clean the mackerel, cut off the head and wash the fish well under running water.
  5. We coat the mackerel with marinade on all sides and inside.
  6. Wrap the fish in foil and seal tightly.
  7. We rub the carrots on a coarse grater.
  8. In a frying pan with heated vegetable oil, fry the carrots for 3 minutes. Sprinkle carrots with salt and sugar.
  9. Boil the eggs in salted water.
  10. We clean the cooked and cooled eggs and cut into thin slices. Wash green onions and chop finely.
  11. We cool the finished baked mackerel, take out the bones and knead with a fork.
  12. From the slices of bread, cut out the base for the canapes with a cookie cutter.
  13. We form canapes. Put the bread back into the mold and put a layer of potatoes.
  14. Lubricate the potatoes with mayonnaise.
  15. We put green onions on mayonnaise.
  16. Put the mashed mackerel on the onion.
  17. Lubricate the layer of fish with mayonnaise.
  18. We put carrots on mayonnaise.
  19. Carefully remove the mold and place a slice of boiled egg on top of the Mimosa salad.
  20. Canape with fish puff salad garnished with shrimp, olives and caviar grains.
  21. Festive canapes with Mimosa salad are ready.
