Cheese snack in tartlets

Any appetizer served in tartlets takes on a festive look. It is customary to prepare snacks in tartlets for a buffet table, but at home we can use small elegant tartlets for serving salads and snacks, for example, for a spicy garlic cheese appetizer.

  1. Hard boil eggs. Separately, boil the carrots until tender. (You can also use raw carrots for this appetizer.)
  2. Cool boiled eggs and carrots and peel.
  3. Grate cheese into a bowl.
  4. Add grated boiled eggs.
  5. Grate boiled carrots, too, and add to the bowl.
  6. Add crushed garlic and ground black pepper to taste. Can be salted if needed.
  7. Season the cheese appetizer with a small amount of mayonnaise and mix.
  8. It is better to fill the tartlets with cheese mass immediately before serving. For a more festive look, tartlets can be additionally decorated with slices of fresh tomato, cucumber, olives and fresh herbs.
  9. A delicious cheese appetizer in tartlets is ready. When using the minimum amount of mayonnaise, the cheese appetizer is not very juicy, so the tartlets with it do not get wet, keep their shape well and look great.
