Cocktail Forbidden Fruit

When serving a cocktail, warn guests not to try to eat pepper: chili is the very forbidden fruit

Ingredients

• 50 ml bourbon
• lemon quarter juice
• 2 tbsp. l. honey
• 3 small chili peppers
• 4 drops "Angostura"
• 1 can (330 ml) ginger ale
• ice cubes

Directions

1. Cut one pepper pod in half, remove the seeds, place in a shaker glass and crush with a pestle. Pour in bourbon and lemon juice, add honey. Fill a shaker with ice, cover and shake well.
2. Fill two glasses with ice, strain the cocktail in them, top up the glasses with ginger beer to the brim. Place a few drops of Angostura in each glass and stir.
3. Garnish the glasses with some pepper.
