Cocktail "Saint Clement"

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash the fruit well and cut the zest thinly with a sharp knife (no white flesh). Peel oranges and lemon.
  2. Combine the zest, sugar and water in a saucepan. Stir over low heat to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat and squeeze the zest against the sides of the pot with a spoon. Cover, cool.
  3. Remove the zest from the prepared sugar syrup and discard. Mash the fruit, cover with sugar syrup and leave for 2-3 hours.
  4. Strain the juice, squeezing out the pulp well, and pour it into a tall glass with crushed ice. Garnish the orange cocktail with orange and lemon wedges
