Cocktail "Sidecar"

Sidecar is one of the most sought-after cognac-based cocktails. I serve a sidecar cocktail to the New Year's festive table instead of the usual champagne. I think you will also find a use for this magic drink

Ingredients

• Orange liqueur like Cointreau (chilled) - 2 tbsp. l.
• Cognac - 1 tbsp. l.
• Chilled sparkling wine (Spanish Cava sparkling wine) - 1/2 cup
• Slice of lemon
• Lemon zest for garnish (optional)

Directions

1. In a champagne glass, mix brandy and orange liqueur. Gently pour the wine on top and squeeze the juice from the lemon wedge. Garnish the sidecar cocktail with lemon zest (optional).
