  1. 1. Rinse the feijoa well, and cut off the edges.
  2. 2. Put a pot of water on the fire, and put the feijoa.
  3. 3. Wash the apple and cut it into slices, send to the pan. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum, add sugar, stirring, and simmer for about 20 minutes. Remove the compote from the heat, cool, and add a couple of slices of lemon.
  4. 4. Compote can be served both hot and cold.
