Kissel is a healthy drink both every day and during fasting.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Squeeze juice from cranberries, I rubbed through a sieve. Set the juice aside.
  2. 1. Pour the cake with water, add sugar, and put to boil. Boil for 5 minutes and leave to infuse for 40-50 minutes. Strain.
  3. 2. Mix decoction and cranberry juice, taste for sweetness. Put on the stove, and bring to a boil. While the broth boils, dilute the starch in cold water. I got a not too thick jelly. If you like it thicker, add more starch. Pour starch into the boiling broth in a thin stream, stirring constantly. Boil for a couple of minutes and remove from heat. You can drink both warm and cold, as you like. And so that a film does not form on the surface of the jelly, sprinkle the finished jelly with sugar.
