Croutons with smoked cheese, carrot and egg spread

  1. Prepare the necessary ingredients.
  2. Choose good quality sausage cheese.
  3. Boil eggs hard boiled (within 10 minutes after boiling water). Then put the eggs in cold water and let them cool. (The water can be changed a couple of times during this time.)
  4. Grate sausage smoked cheese on a coarse grater directly into a bowl.
  5. Peel the cooled eggs from the shell and grate on a coarse grater into a bowl with smoked cheese.
  6. Wash raw carrots, peel and grate on a fine grater. Transfer the grated carrots to the cheese with eggs.
  7. Peel the garlic, chop or pass through a press and add to the rest of the spread ingredients.
  8. Season the combined ingredients with mayonnaise and sour cream. Add salt and ground black pepper. Be careful with salt, because cheese and mayonnaise are already salty, be guided by your taste.
  9. Mix all ingredients until smooth.
  10. Cut the baguette into slices.
  11. Preheat a frying pan (I have a grill pan), put the baguette slices in it and brown for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  12. (You can also put the baguette slices on a baking sheet and send to the oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 7-10 minutes.)
  13. Then cool the croutons a little.
  14. Put the spread on the croutons.
  15. Garnish sandwiches with fresh parsley leaves.
  16. Toasts with a spread of smoked cheese, eggs and carrots are ready.
  17. Such an appetizer will fit equally well into the festive and everyday menu. The spread is very tasty, you can’t even say that it is prepared from simple products.
