  1. 1. Wash the apples, peel, remove the core, and cut the flesh into slices.
  2. 2. Dip in boiling water and cook for 20 minutes until the apples are soft.
  3. 3. Peel the kiwi, and cut it into circles (slices).
  4. 4. 5 minutes before the end, add kiwi to the apples.
  5. 5. Strain the broth, rub the apples and kiwi through a fine sieve or beat with a blender. Put applesauce in a saucepan, add citric acid, pour broth, add sugar and bring to a boil. While stirring, pour in the starch diluted in cold water, and cook over low heat, stirring, until thickened.
  6. 6. Serve the jelly chilled, garnished with apple or kiwi slices.
