1. Peel tangerines. Place the peel in a small saucepan.
2. Pour the water.
3. Add sugar.
4. Weigh the right amount of cranberries. You don't need to defrost it.
5. Add lingonberries to the pot.
6. We need a small piece of ginger. We clean it, cut it thinly and send it to the pan with glögi.
7. Put spices. Cinnamon needs one stick.
8. Bring the glögi to a boil, remove from heat, cover and set aside for 20 minutes.
9. Lightly toast the almond flakes in a dry frying pan.
10. Strain the glögi through a sieve. I crushed the berries right in the strainer with a crusher for a more intense taste. Additional juice from lingonberries went into glögi, and we no longer need cake.
11. Pour into cups.
Glögi is Finland's national Christmas drink.
