Korean-style marinated cauliflower with carrots

Hello! Today I offer a simple recipe for a very tasty pickled cauliflower in Korean. Cabbage with carrots turns out crispy, bright. Ideal for meat. I recommend cooking! Bon Appetit everyone!

  1. To prepare a Korean-style snack, take one head of cauliflower, rinse it well under cold water. We disassemble the cabbage into inflorescences.
  2. We grate one large carrot on a Korean carrot grater.
  3. Put cabbage with carrots in a bowl and mix a little.
  4. Add chopped garlic to them (we need 4 cloves).
  5. Pour 1 liter of water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil.
  6. Add sugar to the water and stir well to dissolve the sugar.
  7. Then add spices to the pan: salt, red pepper, coriander, paprika, black pepper and quite a bit of turmeric for color. We mix everything well.
  8. Turn off the heat and pour 1 tablespoon of vinegar essence 70% into the marinade.
  9. Add 50 ml of vegetable oil to the vegetables.
  10. And pour everything with hot marinade.
  11. We cover the cauliflower with carrots with a plate and put a load (a decanter of water) on top so that the cabbage is under pressure and marinated well.
  12. Leave the cabbage in the marinade overnight.
  13. Ready-made cauliflower with carrots can be decorated with greens when serving. Marinated Korean-style cauliflower is crispy and incredibly tasty.
