Today I propose to cook very quick and simple lazy pies without dough! The base is bread for toast. The filling can be any, I have mashed potatoes with bacon and fried onions.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Let's start making lazy bread pies with the filling. Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry in a dry frying pan. Transfer the fried bacon from the pan to a bowl.
  2. Cut the onion, put it in a pan and fry on the remnants of bacon fat.
  3. We make mashed potatoes from boiled potatoes, add milk (the amount of milk depends on the potatoes, look at the consistency so that the pies are not very dry).
  4. Add fried onions, bacon to the puree, mix. Salt, pepper to taste.
  5. We form pies. We take a piece of bread, roll it out with a rolling pin.
  6. We take a round shape and cut out one half of the pie from one piece of bread and also cut out the second half of the pie from the second piece of bread. Then spread the filling on one half and cover with the second half of the bread.
  7. Pinch the edges with a fork.
  8. (You can also go more sparingly without cutting out the shapes, put the filling on one part of the bread slice, fold the slice of bread in half and pinch.)
  9. Whisk 2 eggs. We dip pies in them. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes or fry in a pan - it will be much faster.
  10. Lazy bread pies are ready! Bon appetit!
