This dish is a cross between a salad and an appetizer cake. Cracker salad cake with canned sardine and cheese is an original appetizer made in the shape of a flower.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Put the sardines out of the jar without oil and mash with a fork.
  2. Grind the onion in a blender. You can grind until a homogeneous mass, you can so that pieces remain, or you can just chop finely.
  3. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
  4. Let's start forming a snack cake. Take a flat plate with a large bottom diameter. Lightly grease the bottom with mayonnaise, using 0.5-1 tbsp. spoons. We do this in order to fix our crackers so that they do not slide along the bottom.
  5. Put cookies on the bottom. One layer will turn out to lay out about 10 pieces. Let's lay out the whole ones first, how much will fit.
  6. Then fill the free space with halves.
  7. Peel and grate 3 eggs on a fine grater. Add to them a clove of garlic squeezed through a press. We will leave one egg for decorating the snack.
  8. Combine cheese, previously grated, egg and 3 tbsp. spoons of mayonnaise. Add pepper and salt to taste.
  9. Let's mix. We got a spread for crackers. Let's divide it into three parts.
  10. Spread the bottom layer of laid out crackers with one part of the egg-cheese mass.
  11. Lay the next layer of crackers neatly over the first.
  12. Lightly coat this layer with mayonnaise and spread half of the sardine on it.
  13. Spread half of the onion over the layer of sardines.
  14. We lay out the crackers again, and again - the egg-cheese spread on them.
  15. Next - again a layer of crackers, grease them with mayonnaise. And then we repeat everything: sardine, onion, cracker, egg and cheese spread.
  16. Divide the remaining egg into protein and yolk. Grate the protein on a fine grater.
  17. And grate the yolk on a fine grater.
  18. Put the yolk in the center of the flower, and the protein on the rest of the surface. Decorate the cracker snack cake with parsley.
  19. Cracker salad snack cake with canned fish and cheese is ready. Put it in the fridge for an hour or two before serving.
