Tomato appetizer with canned fish and apple

Such a bright and appetizing appetizer of tomatoes and canned fish is perfect for a festive table. The combination of products is very interesting: canned sardines, vegetables, herbs and apples. The fish filling goes well with the fresh tomato base, and the result is a kaleidoscope of bright flavors.

  1. Drain liquid from sardines and remove pits. Mash the fish with a fork.
  2. Peel the carrots and rub on a medium grater.
  3. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.
  4. We peel the apple and rub it on a coarse grater.
  5. Put the fish, carrot, onion and apple in a bowl.
  6. Dill wash, shake, finely chop and add to the bowl.
  7. Add salt and pepper.
  8. Mix everything until smooth.
  9. Wash the tomatoes, pat dry and cut into slices about 1 cm thick.
  10. Put a mixture of vegetables and fish on top of the tomatoes.
  11. Decorate the appetizer with parsley leaves and serve.
  12. This appetizer will not last long on the table!
